Abstract	Positive Psychology is an approach that is more recently being used in the lives of individuals to provide improved life satisfaction. In relation to this movement, different positive psychology interventions are being implemented in the community. One of the most prevalent uses of these interventions is being more aware of strengths of character of an individual. Different orientations to happiness are also currently being evaluated. The present study investigated the relationship of strengths of character and approaches to happiness in undergraduate students. Participants completed the Approaches to Happiness Questionnaire, and provided a ranking of the Values in Action Classification of Character Strengths. Previous studies have supported a correlation between the meaningful life and good life approach to happiness, which was also found in this study. The findings of this study contributed information to the available literature on the prevalence of strengths of character and the approaches to happiness in undergraduate students.
